I haven't heard anything but would love for this to happen. They would need a director who really gets it and won't give it the standard musical theatre polish.
But I won't look forward to another rehashing of whether or not Rocky Horror is problematic.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
2025 would coincide with the anniversary of the film and the opening of the Broadway production, but the actual 50th anniversary of the stage production of Rocky Horror was in 2023. I’m not aware of anyone who considers the opening of the Broadway production to be the show’s anniversary year. If they tried to market a Broadway revival as the 50th anniversary production it would be a little disingenuous.

Feels like this is long overdue. Hopefully it's put in the right hands and Roundabout doesn't clean up the material.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
This rumor was reported by the Sweaty person, who claims it is indeed part of Roundabout's season (at Studio 54) and was supposed to be done a few years ago but got scrapped due to COVID. He claimed they want a Black queer Frank, but he didn’t know who the director was. Grain of salt obviously.
Wonder if Roundabout feels this is something they could bring back every year, or is hoping for another long-ish runner like Cabaret was?
I love Hunter Foster’s production at Bucks County: neither a wild out of the box take nor a faithful recreation of any of the past versions. Just a wild parade of numbers and gags both timely and classic.

Ehhh. I've seen it. it's okay. A bit cleaned up and relaxed. The old Bucks County Playhouse did Rocky Horror every October and it was absolutely insane.

Still happening, so I hear. "
Yep. Summer 2025. Likely a 6 month run.

I wonder if a truly NEW production of A CHORUS LINE would work at PAC? Obviously the configuration of the theatre would not be the same as it was for CATS.

Instead of dancers auditioning they should be actual cats.

Add me to the Pinkleton train."
Honestly, it has potential to run a while and could probably help Roundabout make some money back. The last revival at CitS was curtailed mostly because of 9/11, and they had a never ending parade of star/stunt casting.

This wouldn't happen until next fall at the earliest. Obviously, if A Wonderful World becomes a hit they would need to revise their plans. I would be... very surprised if they had to, though.
