Yeah noticed that too when Crystal motioned to the Balcony.
I mean, I love that Elliot gave us a rise from the basement moment on The Tonys because I love that stuff.
And as a former Lenk vocal hater, I thought she sounded stronger than before, for sure.
But, to not give us an iconic Ladies Who Lunch or even Not Getting Married Today? I feel like by now they've done that number enough that no one who hasn't seen it would care.

I usually find the Tonys to be the worst produced of the EGOT award shows, but geez... Having empty seats is one thing, but not getting seat fillers in sections that you know are going to be highlighted in the broadcast is embarrassing.

Yeah Bobby Baby Bobby ain’t going to sell one ticket. All those great numbers and they chose that?!? Good god.
And Rashad can kick rocks after supporting a serial rapist. I’d never pay a dime to see her.

There are much better numbers Company could have done. Disappointing.

Happened to walk by Radio City on Friday and was told Tony tickets were $500+ and obviously still available.

I'm just the opposite of everyone I guess. I thought Mr. Saturday Night's performance was terrible and Company was fantastic. Then again, I would have given Katrina Lenk the Tony herself out of all those performances so.

It's infuriating to see the empty seats not just in the balcony but all over the orchestra. There are lots of NYC teenagers in performing arts high schools who would have loved to go.

The empty seats on every level are an embarrassment.
So far for me:
Musican Man: -
MJ: -
Mr. Saturday Night: +
Company: +
GFNTC: +

Girl from the north country gives easily the best performance of the night so far. Wow. Bravo to them

You think they'd know by now, "Side by Side" is the Company Tony number!

Oh shut up about the empty seats. Generally the orch section will all be filled (or allocated out to various stakeholders), and people flee to the bars during parts of the show because they don't want to sit through it.

That’s crazy! It looked like there were plenty of orchestra seats empty, too. Maybe next year they can (and should) go back to a traditional Broadway house.
The Tony Awards can no longer fill Radio City Music Hall. Let’s just hope tonight’s ratings justify a broadcast next year.

Not sure of the point of all the low shots up at the stage with heads in the way, except to recreate that feeling when someone extra tall sits right in front of you. Really noticeable in MSN and GFTNC.

Was an award given out during the previous commercial break? Someone was leaving the podium as the lights came up and it was silent for a few seconds.

The empty seats are because of covid seating — there are a set number of people allowed in each section

I wish GFTNC was at least running through the entire summer.

Not really connecting with DeBose as host. Maybe it is the lame numbers she's been saddled with performing.
She's got great energy, but ...

GFNC was the first performance of the night that may have actually made me interested in buying a ticket.

You’ve got a week. You won’t regret it.
