The Wiz - 3 (On Broadway with Stephanie Mills) Dorian - 3 (Denver premiere with Matt Cavenaugh) Purlie - 2 (1st tour and a leter tour) Le Miz - 2 (1st tour and in Denver on the day of Columbine) Showboat - 2 (National tour with Cloris Leachman in Denver) Wicked - 2 (Orig. B'Way cast and 1st Nat. Tour in Denver) Always Patsy Cline - 3 (In Denver)
Spelling Bee and Les Miz are the only shows I've seen twice (and that's the most!) After I know all the words and music very well, nothing really suprises me, and I just figure, why go back?

answer, and the H in ghost, and the extra A in aardvark, and the T in listen, you could keep saying WHAT but no one would ever hear you because the whole word would be silent."

Les Miz tops my list at 24. All of these would be on tour in the US or in London.
After that, I think it goes something like:
Jersey Boys: 6 Spelling Bee: 5 La Boheme: 4 Big River revival: 3 Little Women: 3 Lennon (SF): 3 Urinetown: 2 BATB: 2 Lestat (SF): 2 (I couldn't help myself. It was an... experience.)
I'm probably forgetting something, but oh well.
'"Contrairiwise," continued Tweedledee, "if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic."'
~Lewis Carroll
I'm on 44 for Les Mis - which sounds astounding but seeing as how I started in 1987 and I was a volunteer usher at a tour stop on more than one occasion, it isn't quite the feat that it sounds like. Its WAY ahead of all my other "repeat viewing" shows.
Now what would you say if today I started over?
Without a thing but this taped together four leaf clover
And I'll pretend like everything is already alright
And I'll run toward the sun till the castle's out of sight
"A birdcage I plan to hang. I'll get to that someday. A birdcage for a bird who flew away...Around the world."
