I don't know if these have been posted or not, but oh well.

A very frightening Out Tonight. The vocals are really not that good, and the costume is EXTREMELY stripper, as is the choreo. Look at their other RENT videos, too, they're pretty funny.

The same people also put on Hair.. with an all female cast. I kid you not. Key changes are wild in these songs.

Hair: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ce2uE4DSwhc&feature=channel_page
and there are a few more.

Apparently there was only one season of love in their version...(regarding the title of the video of their version)

What the hell kind of kiss was that at the end of Out Tonight?

I actually saw a high school do a pretty fantastic version of cabaret last year.

This isn't awful (in fact, many of the kids are quite good), but WTF is on Javert's head in the prologue? A magnified bindi?

Oh god. Fantine's wig is plain awful. Pretty voice, horrible costume/wig.

Not only does that Urinetown video not belong here, as it is not "bad" (I think it's clever!), but it is obviously not a highschool production...

I agree with you, however, my high school did it and Bradford is known for having extraordinary talent. Our Bobby Strong was probably the best you could get to play that role out of a high school. Had the voice to do it too.

Here's a video that's five seconds long of South Pacific. No high school should EVER do South Pacific.

Emile should have a big, operatic baritone, let alone talent itself.

Outside of that and Fantine's wig, the costumes are actually kind of decent.
Although I'm willing to bet the kid wearing the shiny purple vest is Prouvaire.

In regars to the Hair clip. What is up with the feather in the handband? In addition to it being painful to listen to, I can't make out most of the words the singer sings in the song.

Those Guys and Dolls videos remind me of the last day of school this year. Everyone else was talking, so my music teacher popped in a school play from about ten years ago and sat next to me. She kept whispering to me about Adelaide "You're so much better. Thank God! She was so pitchy but she was all we had. I heard she's a music teacher now. Let's hope she's better". But I won't post without a contribution.

A good one (Honk!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB7dxKC4veA

The Elle in the Legally Blonde one wasn't awful, but the rest... well, at least it was just for fun.

Not sure if this counts, but here's a pretty good one - I guess I'm biased because I went to camp here =) - of Hair: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nhd3lPkDZeI&feature=related
