No. Katrina and Patti were in all last week. I believe the only person who was out at all was Terence Archie.

Katrina was out 2 weeks ago with Covid, but she's been back since the 9th.

I have to admit that I am concerned too. I am from out of town ang get to NYC 2 - 3 times per year. I had targeted the next (early June) trip for limited run engagements, and figured that I could see Company in August od October. Starting to wonder whether I need to miss something to ensure I see it, because I only have time for 5 slots this time around.
Sadly, I think it's just the increased competition from spring/Tony season. Hopefully, they do well with nominations and awards and get some excitement/attention back on them.
Sondheim and Patti are the main draws. (That and a wonderful production, of course.) Sondheim's passing put a lot of attention on it, but that was now 6 months ago. And Patti is certainly a draw but no Hugh Jackman.
I definitely agree that the Tony noms and potential wins will give this a boost. Ultimately though its a revival of a much revived Sondheim show that attracts a particular ticket buyer and savvy theater goer vs. the majority of tourists just looking to see a broadway musical. I’m hoping it stays around til September. It’s so damn good and honestly just keeps getting better and better.
My friend is at the show right now. Intermission took longer than usual, and it was announced that LuPone’s understudy would be performing act two. I wonder what happened, and on her birthday no less.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Oh no. My family has tickets for tomorrow, but I know they will be in good hands regardless. I really hope she’s ok. She must have been feeling pretty bad.

I think “Someone Is Waiting” would’ve been better out of context, but she did great. She definitely toned down the intensity of her acting for TV, which was wise.
I’ve always been of the opinion that Lenk was a disappointment the two times I saw her (2020 previews and 2021 previews). Though it’s taken two years, glad to see she has finally produced vocals that match her incredible acting. That televised performance almost makes me want to go see her again. She’s found a lovely way of using all the colors of her voice to really give it that extra punch while still sounding like herself and putting the story-telling at the front. If the voters see this now, it moved her to the front of my Tony predictions

I know Sharon D. Clarke is considered somewhat of a lock for Best Actress in a Musical this year, but I’m rooting for Katrina, and that performance does a stellar job demonstrating why. Her work as Bobbie is a master class example in how a musical theatre actress interprets text and song and emotes both through a highly nuanced and yet still incredibly accessible performance. Her performance on Seth Meyers does not include the entire first half of the song (which, if you know “Being Alive,” is… kind of an important foundation for the second half!) and yet you still understand and feel every little bit of her characterization and development. I also just feel kind of weirdly proud of her for how significantly her vocal strength has developed in the role between pre-pandemic Bobbie and her Bobbie today. She’s just beyond stunning in this role.
