Bridges of Madison County, Bonnie and Clyde (it was flawed, I know, but I still love it)

Caroline, or Change - One of my favorite scores ever and a wonderful production
A Catered Affair - Beautiful score with a superb cast

Oh yeah, Scottsboro Boys! What a truly excellent show that never received the accolades or attention it deserved. I really feel that if someone jumped on this and did a revival soon it could be a hit. Cast Todrick Hall as one of the "women," Corbin Bleu in the Colman Domingo role and get David Hyde Pierce as the Interlocutor. I think with current culture re-examining our past through today's lens, this could be something truly special! Would love to see a person of color direct this time around as well and see what new light they could shed on the piece - George C. Wolfe would be fascinating!

The Visit. It was weird and ugly-pretty in exactly the way I like.

Some recent ones that come to mind:
AMERICAN PSYCHO
A CATERED AFFAIR (this one really deserves a second look - what a beautiful, quiet score).
THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY
BONNIE & CLYDE

Lots of goodies listed. Bandstand, Ghost, & even JCS 2012 revival were good.
But, favorite is probably Xanadu... if that counts, because i think it ran for two years.

Hands on a Hardbody, what a spectacular show! Tuck Everlasting was also a pleasure

Lysistrata Jones was a whole lot of fun

I forgot about the Superstar 2012 revival. I still long for a cast album. It was such a great cast.

Amour. It has a wonderful score and the cast sounded great on it.
Scottsboro Boys is easily one of the best shows I've ever seen.
