I'd imagine the Nederlander won't be an option. "Mr Saturday Night" will probably run for a year with Crystal to make its return investment. And that won't give it time to open during the 22/23 season.

That could work, but they might have to downsize the set. I've been to the Broadhurst before and that stage is very small, but I am sure they can work something out.
The idea is to work and to experiment. Some things will be creatively successful, some things will succeed at the box office, and some things will only - which is the biggest only - teach you things that see the future. And they're probably as valuable as any of your successes. -Harold Prince
It's not that huge of a set. Broadway stages are typically a lot wider than those found in West End theatres, and there's no huge set pieces that I wouldn't see fitting into most Broadway stages.

Well, that is obviously not going to happen. And imagine if this debuted WITHOUT a woman of color playing the title role after it was established in the West End WITH a black actress as Juliet!

I think they will try to get Mirriam Teak Lee to come over from London. I don't know who else could play Juliet. Some would say Grace Mouat, but she's joining that new girl group SVN with the other OG Queens from SIX.

I dunno...it seems it's time for the singularly talented Tamika Lawrence to get a Broadway leading lady role.

Would love to see Betsy Wolfe or Stephanie J. Block as Anne Hathaway. I know the transfer is going for standard American accents, but I can’t help but hear the two in their Drood RP delivering some of Anne’s hilarious dialogue.

I do wonder if Dominic Fallacaro will be involved with the Broadway incarnation. He was the original music director on the West End, and he also worked on both the recent remount of Freestyle Love Supreme and the film adaptation of "tick, tick... BOOM!" with his Juliet cohort, orchestrator Bill Sherman.
This definitely seems like a good fit for the Broadhurst. Awhile ago I also thought the Brooks Atkinson could be a good fit, but it is very clear that SIX is there to stay! I think a mid-sized house is perfect for this show.
"There’s nothing quite like the power and the passion of Broadway music. "
I was wanting to post this yesterday (on "It's Gonna Be May" Day), but forgot to do so, dangit.
Anyway, according to a casting notice I saw last month, rehearsals for the Toronto run begin tomorrow. Fallacaro is indeed MDing, and Sherman hops on as music supervisor.
For what it's worth, we could be meeting the soon-to-be Broadway cast of & Juliet sometime tomorrow! It sure looks like this one might be the most bonkers jukebox musical we've had in a while.

The Canadian Premiere/Toronto sit-down production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child begins May 31st. I wouldn't be surprised if its after that date or just before. The Toronto producers are putting a lot into HP, and could see them waiting until they have a public performance. I could be wrong though.
Also, the show currently running at the theatre is closing Sunday (May 8th). Something might come next week too. Who knows?!

I'm also reaching, but I'm hoping Betsy Wolfe is Anne/April - she hinted at her concerts last week that she was joining a show and that it would probably be announced this week. But no other details given.
