I saw this last night.

Inspired lunacy! The energy from the cast was incredible. I often find plays like this a bit tedious after awhile; however, that really was not the case last night. The scene at Ford's Theatre was pure gold, and the final scene was very funny, albeit a bit too long.

The cast was uniformly excellent. I particularly liked Tom Macht.

Fun evening!

Meanwhile, I was at the stage door the other night and one of the performers (I don’t want to specify which one) made a very STRONG hint that November 10th is likely not going to be the end, but the details are still being finalized. (Prompted when I mentioned I had purchased tickets for that night).

I don’t talk out of my a$$, I heard that HBO is going to film it.  Didn’t they do the same for that Jewish stand up comedian last summer?

IT is absurd not to assume that it will be extended.  It is selling out every performance and a number of future performances are sold out, a rarity these days.  I would imagine that its grosses could drp considerably and that it would still be turning a profit.  I am expecting this to run at least a year.
