Des Moines, IA. I make 2-3 visits to NYC each year to watch shows. For some reason for several years one of the trips fall in Jan until 2016 when we got caught in the blizzard and shows were cancelled on a Saturday. I think May-Nov are now the good times to visit ??

Chicago here.
I'm usually the youngest person in the audience when I go to shows (unless it's a big show in the Loop). I would loooooove to meet other mid-twenties theatre lovers. I usually just end up chit-chatting with older patrons and they usually dismiss my opinions on shows because of my age.

I go when it's cold too. Mrs. and I are there about the same amount. When there it's Broadway-centric.

More power to you! I can't do that because I'm here on a work-visa (gay, theater nerd, brown, immigrant for work - basically a fodder for Trump administration lol).

VA suburbs of D.C. My aunt lives in Bergen County, NJ so we often stay with her and train into the city, or leave our kids with her and stay near Times Square.

New York, NY here. I'm an Airbnb host and we get a lot of theater goers guests, so I guess I'm lucky because me and my husband are pretty much always talking about theater... I always like to hear what people think of the shows they've seen!
The reason I quoted this message in particular though was to mention that we get a lot of young people that are super into theater... so many people under 21 that come to the city just for Broadway...

Northern NJ where nobody knows. People seem to forget that Sussex County is the top of the state.

I'm from Chicago too! I could say the same thing, I'm 17 so often when I see shows I stick out like a sore thumb haha.
