Pretty much the first 3 weeks were on TDF, it was at the booth for half-off tonight, and there was a mailer/email blasts with a code.

I would agree about the ending. It needs some tightening up (and maybe cutting?). But the show in general is in incredible shape for a first preview.
Is Borle doing a Jackie Hoffman impression? From the Mez he looked so much like Jackie.
Oh, I just wanted chime in and agree that every word out of NaTasha Yvette Williams‘ mouth is perfection.
Also… who was too overly focused on Casey’s legs to get a sense of what was going on at any point in the show? (Tell the truth, folks!)
Starting to consider this for my next trip… can anyone post a discount code if there’s one out there still active?
Does script explicitly address that J's character is gender-fluid/nonbinary?
As for seating - orchestra vs. front mezzanine and house left or right for best viewing in general.

This is the thing that excites me the most. I was afraid they were past their prime; I feared SMASH might have creatively sapped them since their more recent work hasn't been as strong (Wonka, Poppins). Glad they're back in tip top form.
On the subject of SMASH...is that song from the TV show that was in the workshop still in the show?

Not a silly question. Go to www.telechargeoffers.com and you’ll see where to put the code in.
Sorry about that! I’ve been told the code might have expired.
Nope, I actually just used it for next week :)

Plus it may be easier to enter (and win) the digital lottery and in-person rush now!
Thanks all for the reports. I’m so excited for this evening!

Wow, I was at the first preview too and believe this will be the surprise hit of the season. Shocked this was a first preview! It can only get tighter. And the book really works for all those thinking that this will be just another “man in a dress” musical. Bravo to Matt Lopez and Amber Ruffin for the strong writing - so funny and so appropriate for our times.
IMO this is what Broadway needs right now and what has been missing. A big, splashy and fun musical. A visually stunning and beautiful show to watch with a truly fresh and original score by Shaiman/Wittman, which I think is definitely their best to-date. One great number after another. Loved all the tap dancing.
And what a talented and hard-working ensemble! Incredible performances by all, including the wonderful Christian Borle and Adrianna Hicks, with special shoutouts to J. Harrison Ghee and Natasha Yvette Williams. Bravo all! Well done.
Definitely hope to see this around the holidays. Did they announce a rush/lotto?

Is the rear balcony of the Shubert ok or is it a waste of money?
What would be the best section to sit for this show? I'm assuming front Mezz with all the dancing?
Rear balcony is better than rear mezzanine.
I sat last row in the balcony for Hello Dolly and had a terrific view.
Can anyone speak to the design/set? Love to hear about that.

Probably time to put a stop to this, as some continue to post it. BOM is not going to be gone soon. That rumor from SO is completely unfounded. I think Aladdin also has some life left in it, though cannot say with as much certainty.
