On the Street Where You Live is a weird choice for a memoriam segment.

It was. But did you see Dana H.?

I let out my loudest whoop of the evening at Deirdre's win. I'm SO delighted for her. That performance was boundary challenging and breathtakingly good.
Singing about dead people with a song about being on a street where people live is a choice.
Last minute/final Best Musical predictions?
So happy for Deirdre even though I have MLP winning. Dana H was a special experience.
That song for In Memorium was indeed a choice...

Man, so many angry, snarky people here. Feel sorry for you all. Unable to enjoy anything.
Looking back at the Oliviers, Cabaret had a clean sweep, but all of a sudden, Back to The Future won Best Musical.

He tweaked it to “On the Street Where You Lived”…I assume a reference to Broadway. So I get what they were going for, but yeah, it was a bit off.

With all the MJ wins and Rashad winning clearly it’s cool to support sexual abusers and not suffer consequences. And we wonder why nothing changes. Show biz likes its abusers.
MJ swept tonight.
Sorry, but Jaquel deserved that!

I like theater and I can't disagree either. I can't quantify what has made everything so boring and weird but there's something off about the staging or the filming tonight. And the opening and the song about actors going into the audience weren't as fun as the original songs in past years.
Lets all support the child molester Michael Jackson
I feel really bad for Jaquel and A Strange Loop. I was really rooting for him.
This acceptance speech is like trying to be a certain type of quirky and it's not really working.

Could it be that with Jacquels absences not a lot of voters actually saw him?
