Hey everyone I am so sad that I won't be able to go to the flea market this year. If any would be willing to pick up some playbills for me I would really appreciate it! I will pay for the playbills and shipping. If you are graciously willing to do this please pm me! Thank you!
I was looking over te auction items and does anyone know if the book DEH is auctioning off (it's called dear Evan Hansen: the journey) is the book the are releasing in November or if it's something else?

Based on prior years, does anyone know how much the ballet shoes from Phantom run?

I believe it is the book made for Tony Award voters, but it may be the opening night gift edition, which is similar.

I really (really really really really) would like a pair of the chandelier earrings... If I don't get accepted into the Facebook group in time to find someone to buy for me, if anyone is willing to buy & ship to Chicago I'd be eternally grateful.
I'm not made of money alas, but would definitely throw a couple extra bucks your way on top of the earrings price and shipping.
I am surprised there's still no map of the booths . I really want to be prepared come Sunday and it's less than a week and still no map on their site! I can't wait. I'm so excited. It's my third year. And being a theater obsessed fan for me this is the most wonderful time if the year!
I have a ton of playbills from the past 10 years I’d like to donate. How does that work? Can I just walk up to a table and offer them?

I think they usually only post it a couple of days in advance. Like I never recall seeing it before Friday or Saturday.
And everyone should be prepared for it to be hot. Seeing it will be in the 80s on Sunday.
I'm also not sure about donations being accepted. Like you will have gotten rid of what you don't want. But, the sellers are responsible for removing items at the end of the day. That's why a lot of stuff gets discounted at the end of the day. You'd have to contact BCEFA yourself.

I'm hoping I'll find some of Loquasto's set or costume designs to add to the shrine I have in my hallway.
I did email the auction people about the DEH book and they did say it was the book they gave to Tony voters. Just thought I'd share in case anyone was interested!

Maybe I'm out of it, but I feel like I haven't seen any publicity of this year's Flea Market, no real coverage on Playbill or BWW. I actually forgot it was this weekend.

My best advice is when they push you...and they will, PUSH BACK. There will be ones that will step right in front of you and grab the item right out of your hand. Be prepared to grab back. The best accessory to wear to the flea market is a back bone. Don't be afraid to stand your ground and curse someone out if they need to be cursed out. Because they will have no problem cursing you out.The majority there are somewhat nice, but there is that select few that you need to bring your A game. I'm not kidding. I went one time and that was enough. And I'm not intimidated by anyone.

Again if anyone is willing I will pay $$ for War Paint stuff. Especially for props or if they have a tote bag. If anyone is interested please PM me. Thanks!

Maybe dumb question...thanks in advance.
I’m planning on using cash. Are the transaction amounts even dollars usually or will I be getting a lot of coins/change back?
Very excited to see what the flea is like. We never go to NYC in September but we made it a priority this year.
We are also seeing In & Of Itself matinee that day so hopefully that will leave us with plenty of time to browse.

Generally even dollars, @madela2. I can't remember ever buying something for $43.78 for example... especially with the lower-priced items. Bring small bills.

Thank you!!
If anyone finds a windowcard for Waitress with SARA BAREILLES on it, pick it up and I'll pay you! All my merch from that show has Jessie Mueller on it, so I want to mix it up a little.
Map is out:

There's only one table listed at each location on the street. I hope that doesn't mean that they're going to just close one lane of the street and have traffic going past the tables.
There must be a reason why they aren't using the open space where they've had the auction the past few years. This seems like it's going to be very cramped and crowded (and uncomfortable).
No "closed shows" table this year, although Great Comet is still having a table. But no specific place for stuff from Groundhog Day or Bandstand. No table for Come from Away, which is a bit surprising. No table for Cats, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, or War Paint, either.
