That’s the day of the Tonys?

April 8 :)

Very impressed with sales on this. Really thought it would be something I could duck into last minute for cheap. Certainly doesn’t look that way, solid sales through April with tickets that are available averaging around 300.

Excellent seats available for half price today on TKTS

Well that’s hilarious that I was clearly over optimistic. Still, judging by the seat chart there are literally a handful of seats left. Feels like amazing value.

Thanks, Dame! Hate that line but might consider dropping in a bit before 2 on Saturday for the matinee.

I used code “SONHEIM” and got a $95 seat for next Saturday night.

For clarification, the code is SONDHEIM, not SONHEIM. It takes tickets on the date I am looking for down to $198 instead of over $300.

Also, I notice they have opened up quite a few prime orchestra seats for tonight's performance. If anyone has any speculation of where they came from would be interested to know (e.g. subscriber exchanges; seats previously comped changed etc.)"
Probably just production seats released.

Saw this last night on the second row of the mezzanine. Noticed there were 2 seats in front of us in the center that was empty the whole show. I would have bought those tickets if they were available when I bought my seats a couple months ago. Oh well. We still had a great view and I got misty eyed seeing Lea live on stage for the first time. (I'm Filipino and have been lax).
I thought the first act was good, but the second act was fantastic. Bernadette looks freaking amazing even though her voice isn't at its best anymore. Beth killed Ladies who Lunch, of course. There were 3 standing ovations at the end because people didn't know (or read) there a couple more songs the group sang. It was a little awkward for the very end when people had to sit back down and didn't know to stand up again when they finally pointed to the orchestra. Overall, a fantastic time and show.

Cheers to those who acted quick and bought the front row seats with the promo code! It’s no longer applicable to those seats. :(

I’m wondering if this theater has a special arrangement with TKTS. Everything I have seen there has been in great seats thru TKTS.

Uch! That was the only really poor sequence in the LA production we otherwise loved last month. Why couldn't they simply get through ALL the songs, then do all the bows--period?! To ruin our chance to properly thank the cast for the superb job they did really tainted the last 5 minutes of the show. What a needless own-goal!

Merch wise, I'll add that there is also a tote bag for $20 that I could not resist.
And it was amazing being so close in the front row - I don't think those of you who bought those tickets will be dissapointed!

I cried at "Sunday" too when I saw it in LA. I won the Today Tix lottery and sat front row for $20. I loved the show! So many great moments.

Saw this tonight and absolutley loved it. Amazing cast doing amazing things. Loved the direction and physical production too. I think Broadway Baby, Send in the Clowns, Losing My Mind, Gotta Get a Gimmick, Everything's Coming Up Roses, and Sunday were the highlights.
I do still have some gripes with the song selection. Too much Follies, too much Company, not nearly enough Sunday, no Assassins, no Whistle, heck, I would KILL to hear I Remember or Take Me to The World live. Also some lateral stuff. I'd definitely take Epiphany over My Friends, Rose's Turn over Everything's Coming Up Roses, and like a dozen Woods songs over I Know Things Now and Hello Little Girl. It's all minor though (besides Sunday, how the actual **** is there ONE song from his masterwork in this show????).
They definitely gave Bernadette mostly acting-forward songs. But, I thought she sounded pretty good. Was not disappointed at all in that regard.

Has anyone won the lottery or done rush for this? I'm coming to the city mid-April through Easter Sunday and see that tickets are going fast. The discount code doesn't work anymore and wasn't sure if I should grab two the two cheapest seats in the last row of the mezz or risk it and try for rush/lotto.
If anyone has seen it from the back of the mezz...what are your thoughts?

I’m imaging the camp if Patti and Bernadette did the show together. Bernadette opens the show with “and I was so fortune because I got to experience that creative magic first hand”and gives a snide gesture to Patti, who takes it in good sport. Then later in ‘Broadway Baby’ when Patti sings over Bernadette who looks startled she will also take it in good sport.
It’s war paint in real life.

$53 TodayTix digital rush tickets still available for tonight's show.

Does anyone know why tonight's performance is at 6PM? My first thought was that it is opening night, but I thought opening night was the 8th. In any case, tonight's 6PM performance is on TKTS.
