Here’s a thread for you to sound off on who was robbed of a Tony nomination.
I can’t believe they disrespected The Wiz like this. The $17 they spent on this revival should not have gone to waste like this. They deserved at least one nomination!
Jose Llana's swim trunks in Here Lies Love were robbed.
Corey Cott's arms were robbed of Best Featured!
Kait Kerrigan was robbed for her comedic take on a tragic tale! HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!

I was robbed for sitting on my couch which was still more Tony worthy than Back to the Future.
Ruthie Henshall for “putting it together”, not robbed but a nomination….and same with Sherie Renee in “Aida”

Still the worst thing I’ve ever seen. Let’s hope that show gets nothing

Disappointed that PATRIOTS didn't nab a Nom for Best Play. Found it fascinating, entertaining and really well directed and written. Glad Stuhlbarg got a well deserved Nomination
No acting noms for “Illinoise”. I’m GUTTED.

Same. Heartbroken

awww, Will Keen didn't snag one other not did Rupert Goold or Peter Morgan. Happy for the Stereophonic (fave play of the season) but was rooting for Patriots as well.
I hope this doesn't discourage Almedia transfers - our any West End transfers - in our future.
Seems weird that Tommy was shut out of design/choreography/orchestrations.
Tommy was legitimately robbed. Nothing other than revival? No lighting, sound design, choreography, Ali?? I’m sad - I loved it so much.
Shocked about Michael Imperioli.
And also bummed for the Illinoise performers.

Makes me think the Tony voters view Illinoise more as an ensemble show than anything else. Still, Ubeda was robbed big time.
Very concerned about the lack of Illinoise love. Not even Ubeda in featured when there were 6 nominees? And instead of Ubeda and Cook we get Roger Bart? And I wish Illinoise got in for sound and book... I've been listening to the album a bunch this past week and I am so impressed with how they crafted a story out of that.

Two things are true at the same time:
1. Jonathan Tunick is an incredible orchestrator.
2. Awarding him a Tony in 2024 for Orchestrations he wrote in 1994 is categorically insane.
Rebecca Frecknall was ROBBED!

Chris Stack and Andrew R. Butler were robbed of featured actor nominations for Stereophonic.
I never liked snubbed or robbed. I think it takes away the celebration of those who were nominated for their performances / artistic works.
Until now… F#€& that. Ricky Ubeda and Ben Cook were totally robbed. Justin Pecks’s direction was robbed. Jackie Sibblies Drury’s book was robbed. Garth Macaleavy’s Sound Design was robbed. I hate this morning.
happy that Here Lies Love wasn't completely forgotten, but overlooking Conrad Ricamora in favor of Roger Bart in BTTF????!!!? Hopefully, he'll be nominated next year for "Oh, Mary!"
