Sorry, I wasn't sure where to post it but I have 2 past-date tickets for Lion King for sale. We're from Chicago and I bought the wrong dates for it. It's mezz seats row g. I'll basically take anything for it at this point OBO.  Currently staying in Manhattan. Tickets was originally for feb 2. We're New York until Feb 11 morning. According to the box office, it can be used Tuesday-Thursday. Thanks!

Its not a crime....its just not a guaranteed ticket. The box office doesn't have to ever honor it.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Not offended at all but the past few weeks there has been a rush of people trying to sell past dated tickets.

Past dated tickets don’t have any money value and are a complete crap shoot as to whether you will be able to use them or not. I’m surprised the box office straight up said they could be used for certain days because that’s not how a past dated ticket works.

Telecharge was going to let me past date my ticket to To Kill A Mockingbird but I knew that was completely pointless because I would never be able to go to the box office at noon and see if they had a cheap ticket available because it’s been sold out.

Anyway, sorry for sounding like a douche, it wasn’t particularly directed to you. I’m just crabby when I wake up. Past dated tickets do not expire (that I know of), maybe you could try to use the next time you’re in the city?

I just looked at tickets on Ticketmaster for the matinee and evening shows tonight and while there aren’t many tickets left, if you don’t mind sitting separately and it isn’t a pain for you to do so, it may be worth you stopping by the box office right before showtime.

Let us know if you’re able to get in! I would stop by like ten minutes before showtime (and don’t expect to get in, obviously) and keep checking Ticketmaster to make sure it’s not sold out (you can download the app and look at the seating map) and just explain your situation to them and tell them you don’t mind sitting separately. There were quite a few single seats, especially for the evening show, and I can’t imagine that many people seeing the show solo.

Hope you get in!
