Who wants to listen to screaming giggling teen aged girls at the theatres while holding up their cell phones for their friends to listen? This is Broadway, not a Hannah Montana concert!!!! Please, let us preserve a tiny bit of dignity!!!

The only exposure I have had to Zac Efron was the "Hairspray" film, and I did not find him to be particularly talented. However, if I were the producer of "Catch Me If You Can," and I was able to get Zac Efron to star, I would take that opportunity immediately.

Sound like a perfect role for John Lloyd Young - who has proven how well he can age taking Frankie Valli from sixteen to present day.
It would also be interesting to be able to see him in a role so different from his Tony winning role in Jersey Boys.

Producer Margo Lion revealed today they plan to go into rehearsals in January for the Broadway opening. I assume that's all that's known.

Aaron Tveit said on his facebook a little over a week ago that they are looking to open in February and they were doing an open call for dancers. He said for people to comment on that post for the information.

I saw under the casting call that auditions for principles are next week, and that the roles of Frank Jr, Carl, Brenda, and Paula have already been cast, but no word as to who.

Unless they are "names", I don't suspect we'll here much before January.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
