I'm not sure it'd work as a movie-- too much breaking the fourth wall.
But it is by far one of my favorite scores, and I love listening to the cast recording. I thoroughly agree that I always find something new in it. "Make Them Hear You" is one of the only songs (if not THE only) that can make me cry every time I hear it-- the orchestration's just fantastic.
Is anyone else going to see it at the Kennedy Center? It'll be my first time seeing it live, and I'm really excited.

for some reason there are times when i find myself humming all of Coalhouse's lines in NEW MUSIC (beautiful melody!) and his Soliloquy in Act 2... oh and Sarah Brown Eyes is just such a beautiful number in the show...
I LOVE this show and think a film version would be incredible. I did it (as JP Morgan) in HS and it was an amazing experience. Here are some clips, if any of you are interested:
Bwaylvsong, I LOVE watching the clips of your school's production, and so do my siblings. We especially love your Emma Goldman (and, of course, JP Morgan )

I don't know the show very well, but I'm going to see it at the Kennedy Center in a few weeks, and I cannot wait. I saw it on Broadway, but I was too young to really appreciate it. I've always thought it was a show I would really love, so I can't wait to see it again now that I'm older.
My cousin was on the national tour of it around 2000 I think and I FELL IN LOVE with it. I was only 9 or 10 when I saw it but I cried so hard and thought it was one of the best shows in the world. I still feel that way! :)
I wanted to be Evelyn Nesbit for the longest time.
